The Transformative Power of Film

The Cinema and Theatre Department at the Faculty of Arts and Design at October University for Modern Science and Arts (MSA University) Is happy to share that the annual conference entitled ‘The Transformative Power of Film’ was a resounding success!

 

Throughout the conference, attendees from diverse backgrounds and fields of expertise came together to explore the potential of film to inspire social change, and the results were truly inspiring. In addition, they engaged in lively discussions and listened to expert keynote speeches as they commented on the thought-provoking and inspiring nature of the sessions, which covered topics ranging from the role of storytelling in activism to the challenges and opportunities of engaging diverse audiences.

 

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all the incredible speakers who made the Conference event a tremendous success as each of our speakers brought a unique perspective and contributed to thought-provoking discussions that explored the transformative power of film. Thus, their expertise, insights, and passion for the powerful role of film truly enriched the experience for all attendees.

  • Eng. Mohamed El Gharabawy, Former Head of the Central Administration for Artistic Services at Egyptian Opera House.

 

Overall, the conference was a great success, and we are grateful to all the attendees, speakers, and organizers who made it such a valuable and inspiring event.
