Go Green Initiative

Mass Communication Students at MSA University support the SDGs and provide innovative solutions to the problem of electronic waste through recycling.

Four students from the Public Relations and Advertising Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication implemented an awareness campaign as part of their graduation project titled "Cyclotech," which aims to raise awareness about the problem of electronic waste and its negative impact on the environment and human health, including carbon emissions that contribute to climate change when improperly disposing of these old electronics.

MSA University collaborated with the Electronic Recycling Foundation (E-Tadweer) in this project, ensuring the proper disposal of all old and unused electronics at the university through recycling.

Through this collaboration, the Cyclotech campaign and the university participated in the presidential national initiative "Go Green" which aims to increase awareness about the problem of electronic waste and the importance of recycling, under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment and the National Waste Management Programme.

In addition, this project was implemented under the supervision of Dr\ Hayat Badr and Assistant Lecturer\ Sally Said.
