Achievements and awards ceremony

The Faculty of Arts and Design at MSA University celebrated Excellence Day and the culmination of awards for the year, with the presence of Dr. Nawal El-Degwi and Prof. Dr. Khairy Abdel-Hamid, the university president. Dr. Tarek Saleh, the dean of the faculty, highlighted various activities that demonstrate the strong connection and bridges built through collaboration between the faculty, society, and industry. This is in line with the faculty's strategy derived from Egypt's Vision 2030 plan and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with the participation of the faculty's partners in success:

  • Eng. Duaa Salama, CEO of the Industrial Modernization Center
  • Dr. Amgad El-Kady, Director of the Food Industries and Agricultural Manufacturing Technology Center
  • Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Hamid, General Manager of the General Administration for Technological and Industrial Centers
  • Prof. May Khairy, CEO of the Export Council for Food Industries
  • Prof. Samir Abdel-Azim, Engineering Workshop for Beach Decorations
  • Eng. Ahmed Saber, Delta Trading Company

 

Representatives from the Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprises Development Agency, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Makary Consulting Company, the Association of the Residents of Meet Kenana, and the Hattab Henna Bloc were also present.

 

Before concluding the year 2023 and the harvest of excellence and awards, winners of regional and local competitions were honoured. Special thanks were extended to everyone who contributed, exerted effort and worked diligently with the students. Thanks were also expressed to the faculty and students of the MSA University Faculty of Arts and Design.

 

The projects were supervised by:

 

  • Henna Firewood Competition: Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Attia, Dr. Nada Ahmed Areesha, and Assistants: Ahmed Ayman, Yara Faisal, Islam Gamal, and Rawan Ashraf Salah.
  • Sustainable City Logo Competition: Dr. Hisham Nagy, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Attia, and Nada Mahmoud Hafez.
  • Best Packaging for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Attia.
  • Black Honey Project - Branding, Packaging, and Labeling: Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Attia, and Assistant Teachers: Karim Abdullah Hamed Mohamed and Amira Sabry.
  • Arab StarPack 2022: Arab Grand Prize Competition in Packaging: Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Attia, and Assistants: Amira Sabry, Mariam Magdy, Nada Mahmoud Hafez, and Nesreen Hekal.
  • Arab Starbuck 2023: Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Attia, Assistants: Nashwa Mahmoud, Nesreen Hekal, Rawan Al-Ajmi, Ahmed Ayman, and Marwa Hisham.
