MSAians present the Plant Disease Alarm Prototype to the Ministry of Agriculture

Three students from MSA's faculty of engineering presented their graduation project to the ministry of agriculture. Representatives from the ministry were impressed with the project, which is an early warning system that detects and controls plant diseases, and agreed to provide the students with the data necessary for the completion of the project. This project is the first of its kind and is expected to significantly reduce the effects of plant diseases.

 
Also present at the meeting were Professor Said Mabrouk, the project's supervisor, and Professor M. Samy El Hennawy, the head of the department in the faculty of engineering. Along with the representatives, they discussed the merits and possible implementations of the portable alarm system with students Mohammed Sedik, Andrew Wagih and Hossam Nasser. The ministry representatives were fascinated with the concept and execution of the project and urged the team to continue their hard work, they also deliberated adopting the idea in order to research and develop it further under the roof of the ministry of agriculture.
