MSA's Dental Health Awareness Group in Schools

MSA University"s Dental Health Awareness group of students and staff went on a mission to Nile Egyptian International School in 6th October City and diagnosed 200 children. This is because MSAians care for the welfare of our society and they believe it is important for young children to learn how to keep their teeth clean and cavity-free. For KG1, KG2 and Grade 1, the team told a story to the children about the importance of brushing their teeth and taught them more about healthy and unhealthy food. The children also learnt how to brush their teeth in a healthy manner.

As for grade 6, the MSA dental team explained the very different types of teeth and how cavities occur. They also explained to them how to brush their teeth in a proper way. At the end, free tooth brushes, tooth pastes, dental coloring papers and mazes were distributed among the school students and a poster explaining the structure of the teeth was hung in ever class. Of course, all the credit goes to Dr. Samah Mohamed Kamel (LA in Oral Biology) and all the following interns: Dr. Rania Ihab, Dr. Nayera Ahmed, Dr. Haitham Ayman, Dr. Hanya Chahin and Dr. Dina Ihab. Well done guys, keep up your great work!
