Mass Communication students celebrating their success of the Summer visit of University of Bedforshire

The Faculty of Mass Communication celebrated the fabulous success of the students' Summer 2016 academic visit to University of Bedfordshire, where they conducted part of their Summer course: MCOM 426.

In two weeks, students enjoyed working in Television studio and newsroom, playing professional roles as presenters, Public Relations officers, editors, studio technicians or journalists making broadcast programmes and designing stories for the web. Students got the chance to meet media professionals from BBC, ITV and radio, and had a Warner Bros studio tour around Harry Potter World in London.

Dr Paul Rowinski from University of Bedfordshire, said: “What impressed me, was how MSA students calmly and effectively got on with the tasks set. They demonstrated they were both intelligent and articulate, I genuinely mean that. There was a maturity and confidence about the group, they were really a pleasure to teach and engage with.

” In addition, students highly enjoyed a variety of outings, fun activities and tour visits to London and shopping.

The Visit was organised and planned by Prof. Alexis Weedon from University of Bedfordshire; Dr. Lamees El Baghdady from MSA University. In addition, Mass Communication students were supervised in UK by Ms. Monia Mohsen from the Faculty of Mass Communication, MSA University.
