Integrated Marketing Session

Faculty of Management Sciences organized a highly informative session on the topic of Misleading Ads on 15th May 2023 at the faculty building. The session was delivered by Mr. Mohamed Yaseer, the Director of Public Relations to Combat Misleading Advertisements, and Dr. Shamiaa Salma from the Public Relation, who discussed the issue of misleading advertisements and how students can protect themselves, as well as the role of the Consumer Protection Agency.

 

The session was expertly organized by Professor Doaa Abdou, the Vice Dean of Graduate Studies, and attended by faculty members and students from all majors. The session included a Q&A segment, which allowed for student engagement and addressing their queries.

 

The session was highly beneficial for all attendees, as it provided valuable insights into the importance of consumer protection and helped raise awareness about the issue of misleading advertisements. Attendees learned about responsible advertising practices and how they can protect themselves from misleading ads, and gained an understanding of the role of the Consumer Protection Agency.

 

We thank Mr. Mohamed Yaseer and Dr. Shamiaa Salma for sharing their expertise with us, and Professor Doaa Abdou for organizing this informative session. We look forward to organizing similar sessions in the future to continue raising awareness and promoting responsible advertising practices.
