The students acquired knowledge of the furniture making industry and details about the machines and materials used in furniture making. In addition, the training helped the students in identifying the different types of wood, ways to differentiate between them, ways to use each of them along with identifying the different ways of furniture foundations, finishes, equipment and installations.

 

Moreover, they got to know the learning the process of generating furniture drawings with the preliminary understanding of construction documents and details as they apply to furniture making field.

 

Finally and happy to say, the interior design department felt welcomed and happy to be having such an experience
