AI and DX Annual Strategy Review

October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA University) is proudly the first Arab University to announce a strategic plan for artificial intelligence and digital transformation in March 2021 and this plan was executed in May of the same year.

 

Therefore, we are proud to announce that October University for Modern Sciences and Arts held its first annual meeting under the title of “MSA AI and DX Annual Strategy Review” to review the strategic and executive plan concerned with this matter in a meeting held on Thursday 7th of June, 2022 was chaired by the virtuous Prof. Nawal El-Degwi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, under the patronage and presence of Prof. Dr. Khairy Abdel Hamid, President of the University. In this meeting, the goals that were achieved last year were honored and as a result, the faculties and participants who won the annual awards announced in the university’s plan were celebrated:

 

First: Faculty awards:

 

  • General Faculty of Artificial Intelligence for non-specialized Faculties: Faculty of Pharmacy.
  • General Faculty of Artificial Intelligence for the specialized Faculties: Faculty of Computer Science.

 

Second: Individual annual awards

 

  • The Artificial Intelligence Golden Champion Award (Faculty of Pharmacy): Dr. Marwa Hamdy Dawood.
  • The Artificial Intelligence Silver Champion Award for (Faculty of Pharmacy): Dr. Sameh Gad.
  • The Artificial Intelligence Golden Champion Award (Faculty of Computer Science): Dr. Amr El Maghrebi.
  • The Artificial Intelligence Golden Champion Award for Artificial Intelligence (Faculty of Dentistry): Dr. Lamia Al-Fadaly.
  • The Artificial Intelligence Golden Champion Award (Faculty of Administrative Sciences): Prof. Mohammed El Deeb.
  • The Artificial Intelligence Golden Champion Award (Faculty of Arts and Design): Dr. Sarah Nabih.
  • The Artificial Intelligence Faculty Champion Award for the category of the Supporting Authority (Faculty of Pharmacy): Dina Hisham.
  • The Artificial Intelligence Faculty Champion Award for the Category of the Associate (Faculty of Computer Science): Basant Hisham.
  • The Artificial Intelligence Faculty Champion Award for the category of the Supporting Body (Faculty of Administrative Sciences): Yomna El Arabi.

 

Third: Technical Excellence Awards

 

  • Eng. Nora Shaheen- Faculty of Engineering.
  • Dr. Reham Omar Bakr - Faculty of Pharmacy.
  • Mrs. Maha Mahran - from the administrative body.

 

It is worth noting that Prof. Nawal El Degwi and Prof. Khairy Abdel Hamid declared that the university had chosen its strategic choice in the path of artificial intelligence and digital transformation and that this is the path to the future, which H.E Abdelfattah El Sisi, President of Egypt confirmed and is heralded by world scientists.

 

Prof. Dr. Khairy Abdel Hamid also clarified that the university is proceeding on the drawn path since last year and its importance is assured year after year.
