The projects that were guided by the 17 SDGs tackled 29 themes encompassing development campaigns, rebranding campaigns, and social, health and tourism awareness campaigns.
Academic arbitrators of the projects affiliated with various Egyptian universities were as follows: Prof. Dina Orabi, Head of Media Production Department at Galala University, Prof. Yasser Tawfik, Head of Marketing Department, MSA, Dr. Inas Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean of Environmental Affairs and Community Service, ACU, Dr. Alaa Khalil, Assistant Professor of Marketing, Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University and Dr. Hanan Ghaly, Marketing Lecturer, MIU.
Practitioners and executives of advertising and production agencies that participated in the panel included: Dr. Halim Abouseif, representative of Rada Research Agency, Mr. Karim Khodeir, CEO of Marionette Production House, Mr. Ahmed Zain, expert in international marketing, Mrs. Sherine Al Tohamy, Representative of Ingredients Agency and Ms. Dalia Ezzat, representative of Media Hub Agency.
Furthermore, Grad 2 presentations, supervised by Dr. Nisreen Nader and Ms. Mai Tantawy comprised three projects that tackled medical tourism in Egypt, irregular employment, and solutions to reform negative driving behaviours in the Egyptian streets.
The arbitrators praised the outstanding level of the students' graduation projects in terms of keeping pace with current events, creative strength accompanied by professional execution.
