In a first and unprecedented incident October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) was chosen to represent Egypt in celebrating the golden jubilee (50 years) of the cultural cooperation agreement between Egypt and Italy. In the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador to Italy together with Rome's Mayor and a large number of public figures and some Arab countries representatives the joint performance of MSA students and Italian Universities students took place after passing successfully the International Contest for Universities dramatic plays. MSA University was chosen among ten others from all over the world. This contest was set up in Benfento Theatre which is known with its unique and attractive elegance.

It's noteworthy that the large theatre at MSA was considered as a closed training camp for students over the past few months to attain that marvelous standard that surpassed all expectations which resulted in selecting MSA students to represent Egypt in Italy through the Italian Cultural Consulate and the Egyptian Embassy in Rome who were really impressed after watching that magnificent performance.

MSA University is always keen on developing the students' skills to reach the global standards. That was the reason behind the effective contribution in that performance to give the students the chance to be exposed to outer diversified world with all its excellence.

The judging committee expressed its utmost admiration with the exquisite standard of the student's proficiency in English language and their talent and ability to act and sing. Mrs. Suzan Moubarak, the first lady attended that performance of (The Phantom of the Opera) last year which had a great effect on the students and gave them self confidence to excel in this year's magnificent performance.

As MSA University's main priority is the educational process in its highest standards it also cares for all social, sportive, human and student's activities to contribute in creating a new promising generation of young people able to compete in the regional and international fields. MSA is the natural outcome of continuous creativity among students generation after generation until it became a role model for other universities in the pattern of thinking, planning, development and precision in execution.
