CONGRATULATIONS! Graduating seniors; you need to know the following:
GRADUATION DATE & TIME:
Graduation is scheduled for
- Faculty of Arts ( CS, MCOM ,MGT and Lang) on Friday,October 1st 2010 at 07:30 PM
- Faculty of Scientific studies ( BIO, DENT, PHARMA and ENG ) on Saturday ,October 2nd 2010 at 07: 30PM
COMMENCEMENT LOCATION
The commencement ceremony will take place at MSA University’s October Campus.
REHEARSAL
Rehearsal will take place at MSA University’s October Campus.
- Faculty of Scientific studies on Wednesday, September 29th at 07: 00PM
- Faculty of Arts on Thursday , September 30th at 07:00 PM
It is a must that you be present at the rehearsal so that you know your assigned seat, the flow of the program, your role, what you are expected to do and when. If everyone is on time rehearsal is expected to take only 1-1½ hour.
IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND THE REHEARSAL YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE GRADUATION CEREMONY.
INVITATIONS
You can collect your 3 invitations from Mrs. Mervat, (Dokki Campus), starting September, 1st, 2010. You will not be able to collect your invitations before picking up your cap & gown. Please present your ID to get your invitations. No one is permitted to take anyone else's invitations; however, if for any reason you are not able to collect your own, you can do so immediately after the rehearsal on 29th & 30th October. Graduates to enter with their cap, gown and University ID.
CAPS & GOWNS
Before you take your Cap & Gown, you are required to pay full graduation fees, You may be fitted for a gown starting Wednesday 1st September 2010 by Mrs. Mervat, (Dokki Campus)
** Caps & Gowns are bought by the graduates and are not to be returned after the commencement
GRADUATION FEES
Graduation Fees have to be paid at SSB to Mrs. Nagah prior to the receipt of your unofficial graduation certificate issued after the fulfillment of all graduation requirements i.e. completed all academic load. Graduation fees, all inclusive, are 400 EGP.
GRADUATION COMMENCEMENT SPEECH
Graduating seniors interested in giving a speech are invited to submit their speeches (up to 500 words) for consideration of a committee, which is mainly composed of faculty members. While there are no restrictions on the content or composition of the speech, it may be useful to include a message to the graduates outlining the speaker's hopes and plans for the future and how MSA University studies contributed to achieve and fulfill these plans. Send your composed speech to Miss Sara El Gohary, via the following e-mail: selgohary@msa.eun.eg maximum by Wednesday 1st September, 2010.
